Welcome to our Campus Commons, the heart of
education at TCU in the 21st century. This year
and next, TCU will open eight top-of-the-line
facilities — these in addition to a $300 million
investment in the campus in recent years. With a
14:1 student/faculty ratio and a teacher-scholar
model that results in close, mentoring
relationships, the TCU experience is designed to
help you develop your creative potential. As a
Horned Frog, you’ll have innumerable
opportunities to engage in discovery and
creative activities — in fact to embark on a
personal search for meaning.
2000 in leadership classes
Scores of leadership opportunities. A friendly,
inclusive campus. You can choose from more than
200 student organizations and have the
opportunity to continue current interests or try
something completely different. There are also
leadership minors and programs in
Mexico
and Italy. These are some of the ways you can
discover and map your to future success as a
leader.
You can also be one of 2,000 TCU students involved
in award-winning leadership programs and classes
— many student-run. You’ll be putting your
newfound skills to work on campus, in the
Fort Worth community and abroad. Because at TCU,

First all-Steinway school in
Texas
Thanks to a strong concentration on creativity,
well-known faculty and facilities featuring
state-of-the art musical instruments, TCU’s
School
of Music can help you prepare for your future
roles. And since TCU was designated as the first
all-Steinway school in Texas, you can hone your
music skills on pianos that are preferred by
performers from all over the world.
The Fine Arts Gala at
Fort Worth’s legendary Bass Performance Hall is
quite a spectacle. Backed by none other than the
Fort Worth Symphony, the TCU orchestra along
with the marching band and choir are joined by
students from the theatre and dance programs to
perform an original piece for a city-wide

audience. Opportunities like this allow you to
mature your individual talents and to
collaborate with others to dazzle the world.
One in three study abroad
At TCU, you can be one of many students who earning
a degree include learning outside of campus –
frequently in another country. Our study abroad
programs support and enhance the global
perspective that you can get on campus, plus it
allows you to increase your understanding of
other cultures, and languages, enhance career
opportunities, and make friends around the
world.
You can go for a summer experience, a whole
semester, or occasionally, an entire year. A
variety of courses are offered in several
countries and financial aid is available. A
global perspective permeates TCU, and you will
have numerous opportunities to study abroad.
